From looking at the census returns I posted above it appears unlikely that they had any lving children. Just re-checked the 1911 and Jane says married 30 years which gives us 1881 and 4 children born all still living. it doesn't make sense because some of them would have shown on the census so maybe this relates to a previous marriage or maybe she meant George's children?

Hi Astra, Yes this is a confusing family.I dont know if its the same George as in 1901 and 1881. Georges wife Sarah had died in 1880 aged 39. George died in 1912. Perhaps he remarried to Jane that you have found in 1911. I have got no info that he did remarry. I recognise all the addresses that everyone lived in the Fulham area. I thought that the sisters had probably come to live with george after his wife had died to help look after the children.
As I am 80 years old myself it takes some time to work things out. If George had remarried I could cross him of my list of what happened to him. Thanks for help so far

The 1911 is confusing. He is still in Fulham but gives his birthplace as Shropshire
