HI I have also get the info on Florence Gertrude (Hunt) Gardiner) who married Samuel Edwards b Sep 1858 Tiverton, Marrfed Sep 1881 Pancras 1b 2269. they had a daughter Winifred Maud Edwards b 12 july 1890 (Reg Sep 1890 Pancras 1d 15) died Jun 1970 Reading 6a 361, married Charles Drew on 26 Dec 1914 at St Luke's Reading, had daughter Beryl Renee Drew b 25 April 1916 married Stanley W Riches Dec 1940 Wokingham 2 1665, they had a son Alan E Riches b Mar 1942 Reading 2c 895.
Also Frederick S Edwards b 1894 Hampstead and
Frank Leonard Edwards b 20 Feb 1898 Hampstead 1a 617, died Jun 1973 Reading 6a 287, married Dec 1923 Reading 2c 905, Margaret Gwendolyn Edwards, they had 11 children all born in Reading between 1925 and 1948

I can't see anything on here though about you confirming his father was Samuel or about the possibility of Samuel going to South Africa - does that mean you have another thread on these people?

I'm sorry i don't expect this take up your day! just a leisurely thing helping people out!

I had mentioned in a previous post that his dad was called Samuel but wasn't sure if he had re-married after his wife died ,or moved away as the rumour was in our family ...south Africa is mentioned alot..

So, are you saying that you already knew that his father was Samuel, if you knew that Samuel's first wife had died, he remarried, and went to South Africa ????

If so, what else do you know please that you haven't told us yet and we have spent all day looking for ?

Frank Leonard's Army Records are on Ancestry - Haven't got time to read them properly just now but they are dated 1917 and give his next of kin as Samuel Edwards, 37 Quicks Rd., Wimbledon as his next of kin !!!

Margaret Dale 1875 trying to find her parents and any other children.I know her father was Charles Dale 1853, not sure about her mother or granparents or any siblings!
