Nearest is a Mr H Parkes travelling with a Mrs Parkes and Miss Parkes departing 19 Feb 1921 for Cape Town. Aged 32, 31 and 12 respectively - but the manifest states he was an actor! |

I can't find a Harry Parkes (or variants) going to SA on the passenger lists on FMP. Does anyone have different information? |

Apparently, Harry Parkes left for South Africa post 1911. Hence, why he was never talked about - he was the disgrace of the family. |
