The Mary Jane in the 1881 has the same POB as in the other censuses; also there is a Francis H with no age on the transcription and which hasn't copied over. |

I think the marriage to Mary jane Percival is a good possibility as Francis junior was born in Middlesex. But I suppose only a birth cert of a child will tell you for sure. |

Yes, Thelma, he is proving very elusive. His father's name on the marriage on Ancestry is a bit of a puzzle too. It is just Robert Till, occupation Gardener, not Robert Till Hopper. I did wonder if his parents weren't married. |
