Thank you Erika. I saw this was an old thread but thought I would leave something here in the hope that Marsha might return here one day. My mother would like to meet her half sister. Unfortunately there was no further information here to help me trace Marsha.

Just to clarify Nameslessone's post above -

You can remove your posts or threads when leaving GR, if you want to, but you don't have to.

In fact it's good to leave them in case anyone else happens to be looking for the same people in future - as you have discovered.

David, following on from Erika’s comment - Genes don’t remove threads or trees from this site when you finish a sub. It is something you have to do yourself before leaving.

Marsha is no longer a member of GR and cannot be contacted through this site

I think Harold Marsh was my Grandfather.

He lived in Norwich, was married to Gladys and had 3 daughters.

His mother, Elsie, lived in Edgware.

It must have taken up a lot of your time and I appreciate that.

I do have Harold F Marsh birth cert. also his a picture of the Railway Hotel he was managing back in 1958.
I also have adoption records with his address details at the Railway Hotel in Norwich.
What I am really looking for is a picture of him.
I don't wish to contact any member of his family as I would hate to upset those who are not aware of him having another child. Unless they wish to contact me then they can through Genes ReUnited.

actually certifcates cost £9.25, and yyou order from th General Records Office (GRO) at the following address:-

You have to register, but it is free.



This is by far the cheapest, and best way ot buy certificates
