Re my last post (looking for Martha Mary Walkley 1887 and her mother Mary. - Martha's mother is Mary Ann Walkley, no father. I think that Mary's mother maybe Martha Walkley b.abt. 1843 Culmstock, Devon, who married William Keeble (b.abt 1835 USA) in 1867 Culmstock, Devon. On the 1871 census there is a Mary Ann Keeble born 1867 Culmstock Devon, I cant find a birth for a Mary Ann Keeble but I can for a Mary Ann Walkley, she was born before they married in the 1st qt 1867. The marriage took place 3rd qt 1867. What do you think. Mind you I still cant place mother Mary and daughter Martha together on 1891, 1901 census, I just cant find them. |

Im not sure but I think they are, Im helping a friend with this research, but I know alot of the Skymes in her family are from that area._ I have traced 7 generations of them for her. Its the Walkleys that have stuck. |

I think the 1891 census family found by Pam may be connected to this birth (so not your Martha Mary):- |

Pity the 1891 census is the wrong one will keep looking. Her fathers name would help. |

I'm not saying the 1891 census you found Pam is definitely wrong. Just that it gives the birthplace as Monmouthshire so the birth I found could be the Martha from that family. |

As far as the births of the children go you have George and Douglas and the Edgar birth that Pam mentioned was actually Edgar J. so perhaps Jack was his middle name and he was known by that. |
