Hi can anyone help. I am trying to prove that my Great grandfather Herbert James Bradberry born 1881 Battersea, married to Rhoda Elizabeth Batsford 1900 was a son to Henry James Bradberryt born 1842 and Eliza Mary Coop. Married I believe 1864. I cannot seem to find any Census details where he is listed along side them as parents. |

He married Rhoda Batsford and from another match I can take the family right back to 1500s if I can be sure Herbert James is son of Henry James 1842 . |

You need to buy the certificates, starting with his marriage if you are sure it is the correct one. |

The 1891 is the only census that will show him, if I have got the correct birth. |

I was told he was 6 months old in the 1881 census and that i would find him in it however i cant seem to get any census results on genes at the moment think there is a fault ?? His mother died in 1890 if she was E M Coop. Henry James the poss father was still alive in 1911.Thank you all for your help |

Thank you so much thats great. Thats the line I had been given with the addition of Ethel 1883 and Mabel 1879. I am trying to prove Herbert James came in at 1881 and then I can trace them right back. That seems the missing link the 1181/9 Census. |

That's really strange. I would have thought he'd fit in here somewhere : |

Thanks Marie its a possibility as they all lived in later life around Kent area and earlier relatives in Ramsgate.. Sorry earlier post mistake..... meant 1881/89 is missing link. |
