If the family were living in Govan at the time the death took place then the most likely cemetery is Craigton Cemetery. Craigton was a privately owned cemetery and the City Council only took over the records for it in the last twenty or so years. As you have a date of death you could contact the Bereavement Services department of the City Council giving them the details that you have. They will do a search for you and you can ask for the names of all those interred within the lair. There may well be a fee to pay for this service. |
