Find Ancestors

Hi all.
I am a bit stuck and would appreciate some help with this one.

George Manning born 1862c in Shoreditch London
His wife was Lucy Johnstone
I am looking for his parents and his grandparents.
Father also George I think but found one in 1831 and another in 1839 so cant work out which one this would be
Mother possibly Mary Anne but am unsure of this as there are a few records with different names.

Any help appreciated.

Are you sure of this, and when and where did the marriage take place please?

You have his father's name, George, from George c1862's marriage certificate?

Does it give George Sr's occupation (and does it match the one Vera found)?

Any other info on that certificate could be useful too -- address, witnesses' names, age ... Any info you have it is best to provide, as the guidelines say!

I found a George married to a mary Anne Hoyte, then another married to an Emma Hood,

I have him in a 1901 census married to lucy with2 children George and Lucy 9 which is my Nan and her brother.
I shall go look for Marriage record,

You need the birth certificate of a child of George Sr and Mary Ann to get her surname. Too many possible marriages 1851-1855ish to guess.
