You would have to buy the birth certificate to make sure it is your Robert John? |

If you can't find them in the census, how do you know that Robert John married Catherine Mary? |

Do you have your grandmother's birth certificate? This would confirm her mother's name. |

So 1901 is not a goer? I know the age is out, but if he's not sure where he's born, he might not know his exact age. |

I would say that your 1901 is a goer, Ozi. Birth details, place of birth and occupation all seem to match the 1911 census that I found and if they had 5 children then the first one wasn't born until after the 1901 census which means they would not have had any children at that time. |
