No it was not uncommon back then same as it is now , there could have been reasons why they married later perhaps one of them was already married? |

Im looking for Ann Hare born 1791, she was married to William ison 10jan 1831. Now this is the confusing bit they had a son James Ison born 1824. Now during those days i thought it was uncommon for this to happen, which makes me think either the marrage dates are wrong or Ann Hare is not the Ann im looking for. |

Ann Hare was born 1791 in the tamsworth area and married a williiam Ison born the same year. |

Ih im now trying to track down William Ison born 1791 and married to an Ann Hare born 1791, i believe they were married in 1834 but i cant say as they had a son James Ison in 1824. Tamworth area |

The 1841 census does actually state that the Ison family members were all born in the county. |

Hi im Search for my GGGGGrandfather, i have had a lot of help from this site and i offer my greatest thanks. My GGGGGrandfather William Ison was born 1791. the Census of 1841 has him as a Blacksmith and Married to an Ann also born 1791. They lived in Tamworth Warwickshire. Please how would i go about finding out Ann's Maiden name and marriage details. |
