There should be either a Yes or No in the Born in County column.

Wondering if this is the eldest son ( James's brother )

The 1841 census does actually state that the Ison family members were all born in the county.

Just a couple of points worth mentioning however:

The ages of those over 15 years old were adjusted down in the 1841 census. Although it states that William Ison was 50 he may in fact have been anywhere between 50 and 54 years old when the census was taken.

Tamworth is a town that because of county border changes has been recorded as being both in Warwickshire and in Staffordshire. If looking for parish records for the baptism of William Ison broaden your search to encompass both counties.

This would appear to be William Ison's death registration. A copy of the certificate may give a more accurate indication of his year of birth.

There are several possible baptisms of William Ison's in the area surrounding Tamworth at roughly the right time. Remember that Baptisms can take place upto several years after birth. The site to search being www.familysearch.org (A free site)

Im looking for Ann Hare born 1791, she was married to William ison 10jan 1831. Now this is the confusing bit they had a son James Ison born 1824. Now during those days i thought it was uncommon for this to happen, which makes me think either the marrage dates are wrong or Ann Hare is not the Ann im looking for.

Please help.

No it was not uncommon back then same as it is now , there could have been reasons why they married later perhaps one of them was already married?
