Hi Erin, Just had a look at Thomas at 31.1, 1901 Census. If his live-in Daughter is only 15, he must be a good candidate for Catherine's Dad, but i have no cross-ref info. Pat & Cath's MC, in1890, has them both at the same address.

Michael...Just looking around (again) on the 1901/1911 Census...Were the Mc Anally's/McNally's living Nos.4 and 31.1 Glenpark St. related in anyway to Catherine Keenan McNally....? I was having a look to see if Patrick had ended up living with or near any McNally's and found Thomas (64 widow) living 31.1 with daughter Teresa ... No 4 is a Sarah 40 widow with daughters Eliz.7 and Mgt Anne 1....cannot find any of them on the 1911. Possible Sarah remarried but cannot find any children/young goirls matching Eliz.Teresa or Mgt anne.... There is a death for a Thomas McAnally 1903/4 (can't recall) which would fit his age on the Census...

Whole Family disappear for the 1891 Census? Coincidence??

Michael...Given patrick states he was a Dock worker (1901) I was after wondering if he hadn't gone to Glasgow but will need to wait until next month to check out 1911 Scottish Census... I have also checked through Co.Antrim and Down for any Keenan male b England other than Patrick..nothing... Have you condsidered that maybe Eliz.was Patricks Aunt rather than sister... his children/grandchildren would probably all refer to her as "Auntie"...We never used eg "Great Aunt Kate" when referring to my parents Aunts/Uncles...

Afternoon Girls,
Unfortunately, as i said in my original " Thread", Celia, who would be Patrick and Cath's Grand daughter, if we're on the right track, was only about 3 when she and her two sisters were sent to England. So her information is sketchy at best. Her Mum, Elizabeth, married Fred in Holywood, 1922, but i assumed this was because he was probably stationed at the barracks there, not where she was living? Had another trawl thru the English Census's last night, but couldn't find a suitable fit. A couple of Patrick Snr/ Jnr's, but none with an Elizabeth of an appropriate age!
If Pat & Cath aren't in Ireland, England, or the US, your guess is as good as mine!!

Good afternoon Erin, I too look at the 1907 street directory, but if they where living with another family at that time, only the person who name on the rent book gets listed. Now I know part of Gracehill street is missing from the 1911 census for that area.

Morning Maura...Well I have drawn a dozen blanks..!! Where have Patrick and family gone...? I have tried every permutation of the surname checked the childrens names and ages give or take ...(without surname) checked Patrick..Cath etc nothing for the Island of Ireland... Tried Ellis Island data base...nothing appropriate...checked UK Census index..nothing... Have also looked at the Directories for Belfast and the 1907 of Glenpark St. shows the houses 13-21 vacant...Bernard Goodfellow is now at No.4..(as per 1911) Michael do you suppose the family went across the water to Glasgow...?

Sorry Michael drawn a blank on the witnesses, Charles seem to be living over the road in Ballymena street 1901, but his wife a Catherine Moans. Nothing with Annie Mayes. That whole district was pull down 30 years ago, now all new houses. They were 2up & 2down kitchen houses.

Erin / Maura,
I agree, its doing our heads in too!?! What i've done is sent an E-Mail, via the Bangor Parish website and St. Comgall's - i think its the right Church - E-Mail AD. Requesting a copy of Elizabeth and Bernards MC! Hopefully this may help in the search. I just wish i could nail Pat & by association Elizabeth, in England?
P.S. Witnesses to Pat & Cath's Wedding were, Charles O' Hara & Annie Mayes, both of Ardilea St.

Michael....Your answers to the queries correspond with what I have found/not found..!! I wondered about the other Keenans also but fortunately Maura has eastablished Thomas was not your Keenan... I also checked out for any family connection between the family living with Eliz Keenan (1901) Glenpark St....Bernard and Cath/Kath Goodfellow thought Cath.may have been a Keenan before she married and living with her mother but can't find a marriage for a Keenan/Goodfellow...Bernard is listed as July-Sept Quarter 1894. There are Yarr's (Pres.) living with Patrick and Cath. havent checked them out yet to see if any family connection.. . You may wonder what I am on about but if you check out the actual Census "Houses/Outbuildings image then you will see there were 2 families living in both houses....Eliz.had the better deal as there were 10 living with Patrick in 2 rooms...!!!
I have only found 2 Eliz .Keenan's b abt the time you have for Eliz.jnr. only 1 with father Patrick...
Eliz...13 April 1869..parents Patrick Keenan and Susan Hanna...Clough...Co Down

Maura, No, if thats what its called. You gave me Glenpark St. thru the 1901 Census, Pat & Caths MC gave me Ardilea St. Pat's address was actually Saunderson St. which doesn't exist anymore, but, a Saunderson Ct. is now off Glenpark St!
Erin, Now have copies of both Elizabeth & Bernards Will excerts, Ta.
