I had Mary Freer pencilled in too but got thrown finding more than one daughter.

Might be an expensive business buying the birth certs to see which had a father Harold.

There is a Mary Freer born Leeds 1923 so would fit in nicely with Harolds age.

Do you know what happened to his first wife?

no i have no idea, presume you are on about Mary freer. as far as i can make out, my granfathere )harold had an affair with my nan, on the conditiond for then tobe together my nan told my grandad he was not to see his daughte , ommmm. not very practical, but he chose my nana and never saw his daughter, not sure if he had one or two, but there has always been talk of one.

i have inclinations to believe it is mary freer but im not hundred percent sure.

derh yes you did, i missed a page out when reading back, so sorry for confusion Jax :-S

its just my grandfathers children im trying to find ..............but as he mariied my nana in crickhowel , it confuses to me as to were he would have been. as he was from huddersfield .. ill keep looking , and if no joy i may just have to go for them certificates,
