Hi all, still no closer to finding his parents, i did get alfreds marriage cert having him down as aged 24 when he married and his father was matthew tregunno who was desceased.

Martin, it would be a good idea to put every scrap of info from the cert - Matthew and Alfred's occupations, address, name of witnesses.
