Google found one teeny thing for the full name:
http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/17152038?searchTerm=Amelia+Earheart
(don't ask me why it says Amelia Earheart; it should go to page 2, Monday 11 February 1935)
Under Legal Notices, in the part at the bottom of entertainment ads (worth looking just to see the movie ads of the day!)
In the Supreme Court of New South Wales -- Probate Jurisdiction -- In the Will of sir Frederick Charles Allen late of 122 Leadenhall-street in the City of London and of 81(?) Warwick-road Kensington in the County of Middlesex Baronet deceased. -- Application will be made ... Probate ... granted ... to Dame Mary Harriet Corrie Allen, Harry Milward Allen, Sir Francis Raymond Allen and John Christopher Druce the Executors ...
Just in case those names help at all!

Fancy find him living and dying here in Australia. There are a number of articles, so will go through them all.
On the Will details given by Janey, I assume the Dame Mary Harriet Allen is Fredericks wife.

It looks like his brother Sir Frederick Charles Allen was Managing Director with British India Steamship and was a Deputy Chairman of P and O!!
He was created a Baronet in 1933.
Is there any way I can find out when he went to India?
I have not been able to find a death of his father Charles Jake Allen, he was not listed as living with the family on the 1871 or 1881 Census, but his wife is a widow on the 1891 Census.
Thanks, Joy

It seems Charles was Charles N Allen not Jake.
Charles Noke Allen baptised St Olaves York 19/10/1837 by William and Elizabeth
1841 He is Charles N Allen. 1851 Charles N Allen son of William Allen 1803 Teacher of Dance. William and Elizabeth also had William MILWARD Allen 1844.
In 1871/81 she is down as married. 1891 widow!!
On the IGI there is a Charles N Allen born York 1837 died in USA 1903 he was a Violinist.Could this be the same man??
Hannah must have been comfortably of in her own rights to bring up and educate her 3 children on her own.
