There seems (on Freebmd) to be several James Jacksons that married an Eliza in the likely time scale in Manchester. The only way to be sure that you have the correct Eliza is to buy a birth certificate for one of her children. |

I think that you are correct Mary, even with the surnames Smith and Jackson it seems too much of a co-incidence! The fact that Eliza named her sons Jonathan and Jerimiah certainly looks promising. |
