At least we have proved it is the same laura. Who knows why she was not baptised until she was 15. I could not find any of the otherchildren so possibly they were not baptised either. I suppose they could have been at another church but given Laura's non-baptism unlikely |

Yes, definitely Sarah - all the names on each census are very clear. |

unless Laura was actually 15 on her baptism - needing to be baptised before confirmation? Clutching at straws here |

Yes, Lara/Laura was born well before this. What a family! A true puzzle. I can't believe there was a different woman 1891, but why on earth call herself Sarah A.?? Unless they enumerator was having a bad day! |

Probably a red herring, but might be worth considering if all else fails: |

The reason I have picked up on the Percival link is from info given to me on your earlier posting of a marriage between a James Crawford and a Sarah A Percival in Blackburn District |

I think Brummiejan and Rootgatherer are spot on with that 1914 death - explains the Victoria 1901 and Elizabeth 1911 conundrum. |

Maybe she was Elizabeth Victoria? |

Jenny, can you tell us who you are researching back from please? Why do you think a Sarah Percival married a John Crawford? Sorry if it's been said before but need to clear my thoughts! |
