I am now looking for my fathers family and have come up against a roadblock. My fathers grandfather was Thomas Fleming who was born in 1863 in fulham when I found him in the 1871 census he was living with his mother Bridget who was 50 and is down as being born in Ireland does anyone know how I can access Irish records. The other problem is he down as having married a Jane Mary Griffithsin 1890 but I dont know her maiden name and the only other information I have is she was born in the Isle of Doas in 1865. If anyone can help I would be grateful Thanks Gill

Where is the Isle of Doas Gillian?? Where did that information come from? She says on the census she was born in London?
They must have left for South Africa as soon as they had married.
