Thank you for that Rootgatherer, the only trouble with that is that I live in Sydney! |

The Mitchell Library in Glasgow have Cemetery records for most of the Glasgow Cemeteries. The most likely cemetery for Govan area would be Craigton Cemetery. The next nearest would be Cardonald. |

I feel so silly, not seeing the 2nd page. This is the first time that I have used this facility, so am still learning, and that was a very big lesson. |

Could be her, I suppose, though she & Robert married according to the Free Church of Scotland & Elizabeth (a daughter) married according to the United Free Church. |

Robert McFadyen remarried in 1914 to Mary Fox. So that narrows it down to 1909 to 1914. |

I have the death certificate for Robert 4 Oct 1941 at Govan which states that he was an electrician (retired) widower of 1st Elizabeth Rogers & 2nd Mary Wilson or Fox. This information was given by his son A McFadyen of 113 Elder Park St Glasgow. |

Robert McFadyen was originally a butcher but then he appeared to have changed profession to that of electrician. |
