I have found William berry born 1837 Banbury Oxfordshire a boat man and his wife Jane in 1871 in Warwickshire . |

Mary not sure if this is the correct William as in the 1901 census his age if 62 giving a birth date of 1840 but will try anyway, as the years I know are not always accurate |

Eliza Berry married a William Brown found hem in the 1881 \NOT the 1871 census it would appear that they had two girls Ada and Eliza - no match found for a Brown/Watson on freebmd |

Paula, If the Arthur that was a "Nurse Child" is your Arthur, then it is not surprising that there is no father's name on the birth certificate. As Jonesey has said, often illegitimate people made up a father's name for appearances. |
