better and better, can you tell I am quite excited?! I will now try to follow some of the helpful links you have all provided. George Frier appears to have died quite young as Margaret is listed as a widow in 1871 census. |

If this is right, and I think it could be, then Minnie Sophia was the oldest born in 1881. She may have been the oldest of these 6 children and was obviously married by 1911 census to Herbert Wells. I had an Aunt Louise who was also much much younger so this would be right, Robert and Henry (assume Uncles Bob and Harry). I have no idea about Edward and Victor but am now very curious. |

No luck as yet finding Minnie on 1901...you could be right with Scottish connection... |

Hi Chris, I had discounted the 1901 census as no minnie sophia and not sure that Henry and Albert could be the uncles I know as Harry and Bob. Now I know that Robert and Alice were her parents this looks like it may be the right family. |

Minnie was my great grandmonther born London, Pancras, 7th August 1881.She had 2 brothers Harry and Bon and married Herbert Owen Wells in late 1902. They had a son Raymond Owen in 1908 (my grandad). She died in November 1976 and I am stuggling to find out anything about her parents, brothers or ancestory. She is listed married to Herbert in the 1911 census but no luck with anything earlier. |
