She died in 1945 so no need for divorce. There is a marriage for a Samuel F Ford in wokingham in 1948 could that be him? |

OMG we are shocked to find out about our family history. My mum cannot believe it but all the information seems to be accurate. Thank you so much to everyone for helping us - we thought we had a bit of a boring history but this has shaken it right up:) |

So Matilda recieved over a £1000 in 1941 lot of money back then wonder what she did with it? if she was'nt with Samuel could be worth getting her death cert |

I might just do that, I think my mum might need to see it in writing as she is so surprised plus I have been trying to sort out that side for a while now and it just ties up all the loose ends! |

ordering the death cert would allow you to see who registered the death and their relationship to her, could be interesting! |
