So Lydia's mother was a Lydia Snow from Norfolk, which I hadn't picked up but a Snow niece b Essex 57 was visiting Priors in 1871 census. |

Susan matthews b 1826 Kings Lynn m 1854 William Elmer KL 4b617 but unlikely to be mother of Laura b c 1867 but I always wondered if her age 19 on M cert was reduced as Thomas was only 18.Wm Elmer mJane Horn 1873 Marlebone 1a 1010 |

The William Elmer/Jane Horn marriage won't be the family with Laura and Amy in 1881. |

Please can anyone comment onLaura's and Thomas' under age marriage in 1886-would the vicar have had real consent from their parents, andwas it usual for them to be at the same address before the wedding?(boarding house I believe) |

I now believe Sarah Burrell ( born Pol l 1833 in W Bilney near Kings Lynn )shown as a visitor in 1881census with Laura G Elmer in West Ham is Laura Georgina Curles natural mother. Please can you find Sarah Burrell after 1881- remarriage, death etc? Thanks |

Sarah poll daughter of Mary Curle m Stephen Poll, visiting Elmers in 1881. Laura Georgina Curle b 1867 m 1886 is not on any previous records. Many Poll/ Curle natural children in the family. |
