i have a copy of all records from volumes 1-9 of apprenticeship bindings from 1692 - 1949 and would be happy to look for any ancestors that were working on the River Thames, with the information you should be able to view the original papers at the Guildhall - so i am told. Let me have name and date of birth and i will see what i can find |

Thanks for that offer I am not sure it his person worked on the Thames but his name is Benjamin Bortis Hutchinson date of birth 1778? and lived at Wapping Wall Sorry I have just found my paperwork he was a shipwright GOOD lUCK Sheila |

Thank you could you look for a Charles Maynard he was born in circa 1770 so bindings possible from 1784 |
