Could someone please help me locate a birthdate of my late grandfather Thomas Daniel Hardman. He died 9-3-1951, aged 62 in Leigh,Lancashire. His fathers name was Edward Hardman. I have got the deathcertificate of him and also the marriage certificate of 1917 to my grandmother Sarah Ann Mather. I cannot find him as yet on freebmd either. |

I cannot see him in 1891 so I expect they were living in Ireland at the time |

Had to dig about a bit but I think this is his parents marriage they married after he was born so he may have been registered in his mothers name |

well if he was living at 60 Trafalgar st in 1901 and 1911 and you have a certificate with the same address it must be him. |

So I think you may find that Thomas was born in Ireland with either the surname Murphy or Hardman |

As margaret was living with her brother in 1901 Murphy would be her maiden name. |
