you might also want to consider this, it's not that far out ...you have to remember unless you know something for certain, people can say their birth is such and such a place simply because that's where they were as a child.... for example my son might say he ws born in a town in Wales whereas he was born a hundred miles away in hospital in a different county... |

Rose is right - I came across that sort of thing with my ancestors. We was told that my ggg gradfather was born in Cork, Ireland and I searched for many years until earlier this year, I actually found him born in London! So never take that into account from what they said.. |

well thanks for all the info guys. I will keep diggin and i dont know if Helen Courtnell had another husband but Wilson as Albert's previous wife rings a bell. If it helps Alberts 5 children are Helen, Jacqueline, Jeanette, Connie and Winnie. Jeanette Connie and Winnie are from the previous marriage and Jacqueline is my nan, The others are obviously aunties |

Remember that many children were only registered with one name, and the second was added at baptism ....... but the birth certificate was not changed. |
