Find Ancestors

Hello there,

I have copied this 1841 from another thread I posted the other day about one of the children in this family. However, I now would like to ask for another search for two of the other siblings in this family. To avoid confusion I've startde this thread here.

I wuold like to ask if people can look up in the census returns the lives of:

William Nixon, born 1837 in Simonburn, Northumberland
John Nixon, born in 1842 just after the below census. He too was born in Simonburn, Northumberland.

Their parents died in 1845 and 1878.

I've only found one possible entry for one of these brothers in later censuses, and absolutley nothing else! I'm not conviced the one I found was correct, so I've not even posted it here!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you! No the one I found was for 1881 for John Nixon! But there seemed to be discrpencies!

Also, I wonder who the Sarah Nixon born c. 1847 is. I don't currently have a record of his sister Sarah who was born ni 1833 actually dying!

I know see she was his sister born 1833! Typo error from ancestry!!!!

Hi Peter,

The Sarah Nixon who is with William in the 1851 census is actually 17 (although she is transcribed as 4) so this would add up to being the same Sarah who is 7 on the 1841 census.
