elizabeth hutchinson was my great granmother c1856 i have the wedding cert for her and her husband john blythe,so all the imformation above is correct, tho am not sure about the death for elizabeth as i was told she died in hawes yorkshire around 1941 , would you be able to see if she was on the passengers list please.xx

I can't seem to find anything at all for Joshua Hutchinson. The tree on Ancestry gives a death for him of 16th February 1880 in Kirkby Stephen, and he doesn't appear on the 1881 Canada census.

Can't find anything reliable for Frederick but the tree on Ancestry gives the following information:-

I'm Mark Peatfield and live in Kirkby Stephen, I stumbled accross your correspondance whilst on the net. My Great great grandfather and mother are William Hutchinson 1815 and Elizabeth Loadman 1817 who grew up next to each other in KS. Their children were John 1845 , Margaret Jane 1848 (my great grandmother), William 1851, Anthony 1853 , Elizabeth 1856, Eleanor 1858, all their births were entered in Williams Lord Wharton bible including the time they were born ! I also have portraits of William and Elizabeth and also a mourning card when he died in 1862 which names his father John, a carpenter. Margaret Jane married Joseph Kendal Nicholson and one of their children Elizabeth, is my grandmother. Elizabeth married a widower with 3 children Samuel Peatfield and in 1918 my father (John Kendal) was born. Elizabeth returned to KS after Sam died 1922 and lived at 7 North Rd just round the corner from 2 Hartley Rd where her parents lived with Mary her sister. Mary had dressmaking shop at 1 North Rd now demolished. Will add more when I can get the hang of this site.
