yes i have ordered Margaret aged 71 and robert aged 70 both from west derby.from G.R.O.and george and his wife from lancashire.marriage and
Elizabeths death.they cost me £24 it must be next day delivery...........
And to answer your question yes Robert was on Josephs marriage cert
but he was deceased.

Robert is living Reg.Dist. West Derby in 1911 census so, unless they moved his death should be registered there. The following are deaths for Robert Mawdsley in this reg.dist. :-

when you work out the date of births the only one that really fits is the first one which would make date of birth as (1855), so that one looks to be the best contender.

Moss and her death cert .I and thanks for you detective work i know her name.and when they married .Iv `ve got a feeling she might be the one that had the accident with her being so young .

You will find Robert on GR in 1911 as Robt. Mawdsley born 1850.

You won't get the image for 1911 though as GR don't have them, only the transcription and an image of the enumerators book for the Street.

Another reason why it's better to use the official 1911 site or Findmypast.

hi Catherine,I have been odering some certificates.and went back to look up some of your dates to confirm. when i found your new post. I have ordered Roberts birth cert as you have confirmed what i found out last year but was unsure .and Margarets birth .I also wanted to get there deaths but i`d be taking a gamble on that . my Nans name was Elizabeth Thomas she married my grand father in 1931 he was John joseph mawdsley . he was born in 1893 and nan in 1899 .

Christine thank you for taking the time to do that look up .yes i am a bit dissapointed with G.R.I cannot get the 1911 cencus for my family and that was the reason i subscribed.I was with Ancestry last year and fourtunatly
i kept loads of stuff i printed off and its come in handy, its just a matter of
going through it all. But its kind people like your self and Catherine that have helped me with look ups.its very frustrating that i cant get it myself and have to go the long way around it to get any information.

If you want to find the image for 1901 on GR. Search for Grace Calvert born 1882 Liverpool, she is living next door to your family and she appears to come up on a search.

GR isn't very flexible for searching, your family are probably mistranscribed.

On Ancestry you can search using just Christian names or Maw* for instance wheras you have to put a full surname on GR.

i have`nt heard of any of those names.the names that keep coming up are.catherine well i think we have her sorted.christopher who suposedly
whent to canada as a mountain policeman.queenie .ralph.and frances
who went to be a nun.william.and our joseph who was called joe.born
in 1916.he was brought up with me mum she calls him her brother from
dads other family.but her dad was a bachalor when he married my nan.
any ideas!!!
