Ethel was born to eugenie pantry in 1894 and is listed with her mother and an uncle in 1901 and again 1911. i have search ed all over for any possible marriages or deaths after 1911 but can find no trace of her. I notice on findmypast there is an E E Pantry who leaves in 1929 , perhaps who has a sub to this site could kindly look at the details please. I would be most grateful to anyone who can help me find her please, Thank you, Rebecca. |

If you haven't already, might be worth getting mother's death certificate? see who registered it? |

Thank you both for this info, i really am at quite a loss as to where she went, i suppose it is possible she died after 2005 and as yet i cant find her death record. There appear to be through all my research two sets of Pantry families, the northern lot (Yorks)and the London lot!!! So it s not likely to be the one who emigrated, or the possible marriages, never mind i shall just keep trying!!! |

Ginny, you may have hit the nail on the head, this does sound very likely to me!!! Now how would i go about checking the exact details for this death, i know no reason for her to take the Robinson name !! |

You'd have to buy the certificate for the death and really for the birth too so you can cross ref her exact birth date |

Ginny, i think i shall buy the birth firstly and cross check with the death date allowing for the fact that some dates on deaths weren't aways very accurate. |

I would think Caleb perhaps 'adopted' his great niece and gave her his name for respectabilty? |
