	Hi Dea, Thanks for taking a look for me. John Brace certainly is a mystery. His birth should be recorded somewhere but nothing shows. I am not at all sure whether if there had been a bigamous marriage whether it would be annulled and if so the record (Registration) expunged from the register. I will try to take a look at back copies of the Lichfield Mercury just in case any prosecution for bigamy is recorded. The the rest of the unruly bunch. I think that the person who confessed their sins on GR today probably had what I call a Gerald Ratner moment. Genes R Us sounds good.
	Researching: Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

	Well.... If I am actually going to be working I best stay off the voddie a bit longer, I won't need my own space I expect I will be out and about all day visiting churches and the like. It will be good to get out as the car has only done 800 miles this year ja...x

	Jonesey. John Brace. Did he marry? Are you certain sure 100% that he is Aunt Flos son? He has no family saying he is theirs on CWG site thats all. I know that you are an excellent researcher and am not trying to say that you dont have the facts,I just wondered? PS I have been looking on and off all afternoon but had nothing to report back to HQ. Who, when, where, confessed their sins?

Marriages Sep 1915 Brace William Evans Walsall 6b 1553 Evans Mary J Brace Walsall 6b 1553 I 'quite fancy' this birth though for John?? Births Mar 1919 Evans John C Evans Dudley 6b 1299 ........................... If Mr Brace was a bigamist, there is this marriage which fits with Army records on Ancestry It might just be the first marriage?? I never heard of him being married but of course he died before I was born so it is something that I have never thought about so I will have to investigate. As far as I can be I am 100% sure that he was auntie Flo's natural son. I have a 2nd cousin who like me is curious about him and I know that she, like me believes that to be the case. Unfortunately all that generation are dead now and his half sister is also dead so nobody to ask. My instinct tells me that the bigamist story may well have been invented to cover illegitimacy but that would not explain why he had the surname Brace or why no birth record can be found. Dea, Auntie Flo was a very nice lady so If the dead do monitor GR I am sure that she will forgive you for casting doubt upon her virtue. I will look further into the marriages that you have indentified.

	actually, he's got 3 months warning save up half his salary each month gives 6 weeks money for January and half of February and he has 3 months in which to look for a new job while getting paid sorry Gins xxx were you half expecting this or has it come out of the blue? s xxx

	Flippin' eck Gins......no one needs that news just now. Sending a little (hug).... Sylvs, if you don't want to cook, how about our Janey ....she likes spending time in the kitchen, but would she want to work with the likes of this motley crew? Hands up for those willing to put this proposition to her! I'm an excellent washer upper.....lots of clean hot soapy water and I'm in my element. Clean, freshly ironed tea towels.......ooooh bliss.
