Hi Ginns,

I hate being without my car, even for a few hours - Not that I ever really go anywhere but if I haven't got it I just feel that I CAN'T !!!

Luckily, it is a lovely little car - always sails through it's MOT, even though it celebrated it's 21st birthday last year !! - Never let's me down though and does't cost a penny.

In fact, the tax disc on the window is probably worth more than the car!!

Grandaughter LOVES it - she gets in and chants 'Grannies car, sounds like a motorbike", over and over again !!

It's done less that 60,000 miles though and actually runs very well !!

Wouldn't change it for the world !!

I'm like you Dea
Must have a car, sits on my drive doing nothing most of the time and I have only driven it about a dozen times myself in the year since I have had it.
M.o.t due in a couple of weeks doubt if it has done more than a 1000 miles hopefully it will be ok.

Ginny

Grey highlight are all the rage - there must be millions of middle aged and very old ladies (like me) - now in full fashion

Natural grey highlights I have - with fake light blonde highlights to hide the grey

OOOerrr !!! - THIEF ALERT !!!!

Somebody stole my dust !!! (Close your ears Cynth !!)

I went out to the Doc's this morning and it was all there - at least 1 cm thick in my bedroom (I was saving it for little grand-daughter to sort out on Thursday !!)

Came back and went to do my 'job of the day' - Suck up all those orange seedy things which had blown in through my bathroom window with the little hand-held vacuum which I recently bought as I can't now manage the big one !!

Did that and thought I would move on to the bedroom - No dust (except under the ornaments!) - Husband must have been feeling helpful (tee hee)

Yeeh Renes - It seems to be 'what you are used to ' !!

I went to Mexico a few years ago - I think my best holiday ever !!

Beautiful place, beautiful people !

Anyway, me and my husband were walking along in shorts and T-shirts - (It was abour December time - their winter!!) - I had just that minute said to him - Gosh, I am soo hot!! and along came 2 girls, dressed in those ultra warm 'puffa' ? jackets ??

Anyway, way too overdressed for us.

It's what you are used to I suppose ???

Jonesey Report 6 Sep 2010 16:54

I was in Las Vegas a few years ago and saw some people who were wearing sweaters. I could not resist making a comment as the temperature was in the 90's. They rebuked me (Quite rightly) and said that they were feeling cool as it had been over 120 degrees the day before.

Everything is relative I suppose.
