I thought it was Mary Ford (June 1888) because on her 2nd marriage certificate her father is called William Ford (Agricultural Labourer) and on this birth certificate it says her father is William Ford. I don't know if Mary Jane Ford (Dec 1888) also has a father called William Ford. If so it could be either Mary. Mary's 2nd husband was called Daniel O'Shea from Cork. On their marriage certificate in 1941 it notes that at the time of marrying Mary was a widow and Daniel was a widower. I know the name of Daniel's first wife but not Mary's 1st husband. Puzzling! |

It is unusual for the female to use her maiden surname for her second marriage in England. Mary uses her maiden surname. As you are sure that she had been married before, were there any children from that marriage please? |

No none from her first marriage. Daniel's first wife died in 1910, Annie Roach. Her first was Hannah with Daniel. |

Daniel was born in 1879. What is the address of this household though? Suppose people could lie on the censuses or things be incorrectly noted. |

Is this entry saying they were all born in Wales though, as Daniel was born in Cork and he had a brother in the South Wales valleys too who would have been from Cork. |

Daniel did live on Napier Street, Llanwonno, Mountain Ash during his 1st marriage. Anybody with the surname Ford, O'Shea or Roach living at the following addresses in the 1911 census? |
