thomas died between 1956,when my brother was born&1958 when i was born,he died in oldham,as my parent's lived with him.put in hurst on lancs bmd&got him in 1957,having a unusual mmn-cooney,found his birth etc,

so if that is them she just used his surname for the children,
this is why i cannot get them on 1901,only the daughter mary ann is not living with them wonder what happened to her,will have to look for her.

this annie if the marriage is 1901 is my ggrandma,she was married to samuel hurst my ggrandfather her maiden name was cooney,samuel died age 30 in 1896,
nice to hear of you again,
thomas was my grandad &he was married with children, before susan came along &had my dad,i am trying to find his wife&children at the moment,
i know thomas was a army man &he was gassed in the 2nd ww

i do search but at the moment i seem to be finding people all around like patrick tolan whom my grandma married in 1952 his first wife &the5 children they had,when what i want to find is thomas hurst's 1st wife & children as these are my dad's half brother&sister's,will keep looking

ann,on lancs bmd if it is a re-marriage tho name has a star next to it as it has maiden &married names listed,
my dad is registered in the birth's under norman hurst &also norman royales both have mmn gregson.

my dad is on cheshire bmd as ashton was in cheshire then

after reasearching thomas's remaining sister's &with a 1911 census look up from rache,(thank's for that rache).
thomas was still single &living with his mum's sister at 2 henry st oldham,sarah ellen married giles wood,had joseph in 1911&thomas in 1913 she died in 1914.cannot find anything on annie checked the death's up to 1911&marriagesup to 1923,i think she may have gone into service,
there is only one poss marriage for thomas to lizzie thompson 1913,now i have just got there children to find

wonder if someone would be kind enough to do a 1871 look up for samuel hurst born 1866, stockport.
i think i have the family in 1881 at at 117 taylor st ,chorlton,ardwick,gorton,but can only see 2 samuel's on 1871,they don't seem to fit,i would be very grateful for any help or to put me right.
