Where was your Elizabeth born please in 1881 because if Harriet was born about 1837 then she would have been 56 when Elizabeth was born. I don't think so....................................... |

I wonder if the listing of James's occupation as Shoemaker on the marriage cert could actually have been intended to refer to Harriet's father? |

Harriet's father is given as John Oliver Baxter - Occupation Engineer. He is an even bigger mystery. Cannot find his name listed anywhere!!! |
