Really sad. Just makes you realise how lucky we are. I wonder what happened to Thomas then? When my grandad married my Nan in 1921 he only brought Ruth with him? The plot thickens! |

Yes, you could be right. Just googled 'Spanish Flu' and it says the pandemic lasted from March 1918 to June 1920 |

Found this on the National Archives site. If he was in the Royal Navy it might be worth seeing if this is him. The year of birth is a bit out and it refers to Brompton rather than Margate but ... |
