Hi anne i dont know if you can help but here goes i am looking for the birth detail,s of rose young i have found her on the 1911 census she is down as being born 1898 plumstead london. father was george young born 1848. spouse was jane. any information will a great help . thank you michael 2. |

I wouldnt attach any significance to her status, as in many cases when the spouse has been dead for more than a few years its sometimes ommited. |

Acton, I believe. Let me check her death certificate. I have a family picture about mid 1880s (no definitive date) where Mary is present but no Thomas. |

If this is the correct one and he was still living in the Parish of St. Nicholas the only burying ground would have been Charlton Cemetary, as Woolwich didnt open until 1884 and Plumstead 1890. I only have the burial register up until 1859 for St Nichs.and he wasnt buried in St Marys, I have checked. |

Have found a death of a Thomas Cook in Greenwich 1881 |

Thomas and Mary look as if they lived at 3 Essenden(?) Lane, Plunstead, in 1871. Thomas is noted as Foreman at the Arsenal. |
