hi all well after 3 years of research i have found out i have been researching the wrong family can any one help me find the right one please all i know now is i am looking for alfred jacobs born around 1875 and he married a amelia ann ? they live in london and had children by the names william edward ellen margaret and roberta and there is another boy can any one help me please

could this be your family or is this the ones that youhave been following that are the wrong ones this is the 19 11 census it says amelia is married & has been for 14 years but no sign of husband ??

this is the family i did think was mine but my amelia is amelia ann and there was no emma

the name turner keep popping up i wonder if amelia ann might be a turner

i dont know if it help but all there children was chrisend at st pauls

i do know that alfred died when he was in his 60 or 70 and he died in a mental hospital

there was but i think she was adoped but the reason i say i have the wrong family is i found 2 people sons of roses brothers and they have diffrent names and dates for alfred and amelia and another person from my family ordered roses sisters birth cert and it sa mother turner so i dont know what to think and who has the right family

this family with amleli hicks dont have the same children as i have names for rose give me them nams and they dont match with the census for this family

can you give the dates of birth of the children

where does Rose fit in?

do you have anything definitive eg marriage of one of the children that would have Alfred's occupation on for instance?

sorry but i can,t seam to find a lead to start us off the only ones i can find are the ones you think are wrong do you have any dates of birth for the children that you have been told about or dates of deaths

william was first born around 1898 hi lost a arm or leg in the first war
edward was born around 1900
ellen was born around 1901
margrart i dont know alot only she died in her late 20 of bad hart
roberta died at 14
amelia born around 1904/05 she married a william clay
and there was a boy he was henry or harry rose was born 1920 and becouse i can not find birth details i thort she was adopted

then one of amelias jacobs/clay gr gran child did tell me yes she was 100% adopted she did not know me or roses children (my nan) knew she was adopted so a bit of a blow for my family but she do not no why or how because any one who would know are all dead

all them children was born bethnal green

Michelle, unless you can actually find a birth index for any of these children, I think there's a mix up somewhere. I can't find a Roberta Jacobs/variant birth or death.
