It was most likely the marriage banns being read it two parishes indicating that the bride and groom were from different parishes. |

What would be the reason that a marriage report of John Ridley and Anne Brown, didn't have either parents mentioned only witnesses, in 1761 Knarsedale, Northumberland. |
