Hi Janice, Yes of course you can remove me from access to your tree. Have you clicked on full tree and taken a look at where everything fits together. You will be able to see what needs fixing.

You can now add your new information to the tree and then keep working back.

I think 'twas possibly Janey who found your UK info. She is handy to have around sometimes, and is nearly almost always most times correct with what she says.

By the way, if you are hooked on this history business it might be worth your while to take out a subscription with a family history web site. Would suggest you try the Ancestry 14 day free trial. Don't forget to cancel before your 14 days runs out if you are not interested. Alternatively you can opt for buying credits to start with. It depends how far you wish to go. You can also do it using the Family Search and FreeBDM and possibly RootsWeb sites with the info from your library (where Ancestry is available free).

AuntySherlock, hi i have been doing what you advised and followed through with buying credits and contacting the other members of the Horne family that left messages.Ihave more dates birth and death and burial sites .like you said go slow i have had to adjust some of birth dates and there are still a lot of holes but it is getting there.thanks a lot Janice.

Have you discovered the FreeBDM and FreeCen web sites. They are good for checking birth deaths and marriages for UK residents after 1837.

I started a search for John Dooley and his spouse and Evelyn. I was going to give you the task of finding the info. The search has become very complicated. I have deleted the info.

Would you like to have a go at finding out about John Dooley. Use the NSW BDM to search. You may also need to search in the UK so use the FREEBMD or the Familysearch web site. Google these.

You will need to establish if your George Dooley was born in Australia or in the UK. Post what you find on this thread. Have fun and see what you discover.
