Just invest in that cert for the Hammersmith reg boy child that I sent you.
If you really want to try and find this half sibling of your dads its the only way.
One at a time until we have exhausted ALL possibilities,of which there are not THAT many between 1934 and 1939.

If one truly existed at all of course.

Cost me £50 to find my Greatgrandfather the same way,so it can be done,you just need a healthy purse and perseverance.


And I have checked most things as has Janey,its what we DO....:))

Of course if you want to give up at the first wrong cert that is your decision and I will drop it here and now.

Its hard to express oneself in type as you are unable to see the body language...and body language is about 75% of talking..

I have edited out the date of birth for privacy reasons and just to add that Nicky has the birth cert that proves his parentage.

Putting this here so Janey and the others can see it.

Not seeing a death for David Jones date of birth Nicky,so thats good news to start with.
Unless he has died after 2005 when records stop on Ancestry.

Nicky has also sent a message to a member on here who has David Jones born right place and year and now awaits a reply.

I have given this some thought and I feel that a post on the "Trying To Find"board is going to maybe bring in more help to try and locate him.
But with the name David Jones it is really going to be almost impossible as I am sure you realise.

Help to find David Jones born 1938 please.

David Jones is my fathers half brother born in Hammersmith/Shepherds Bush area to Kathleen Violet Minnie Rolfe and Thomas David Jones whom I now have the birth cert for and would really appreciate some help to try and trace him and any possible children he may have.

His death has been searched for using his exact date of birth and nothing has been found as of yet.He may have died after 2006 in which case of course it is not on the indexs.

I know this is a needle in a haystack job,but any help whatsover in trying to trace this mans whereabouts would be wonderful.

I asked Nickys permission to paste this PM to me on here so here it is.

WELL....
I rang my dads cousin for confirmation on henry (Rolfe)and daisys(Smith) marriage.
He said I have been trying to get hold of you this week, re David Jones. Apparently! he had a letter from a Rosemary Jones enquiring about Kathleen violet and the rest tof the Rolfe family/. My cousin replied sending a little family tree , but ommited to tell her I was looking for David! Well he is her hubby!!! I got their phone no of said cousins thick hubby and rang them hahahahahahah O.M.G!!!!!!!
David did not know of my dads existence, his dad thomas did not talk about her, remember david was a baby wjhen she died. Thomas didnt even tell him bout his half bro!!! what a git, probably had his reasons. I was crying , cos it was sooo emotional. Spoke to Rosemary my auntie!!!! Anyway , all the evidence corroborated as they say in the police. They live in Kent and we will be visiting them soon.
