Hi, my husband's great grandmother was Blandina Parodie. Have you had any luck finding any more information on Sarah Ann, the marriage situation has intrigued me for quite a while. Her change of surname for birth of children is bizarre.I have been unable to find where exactly she was from and when she died. Have you been able to find anything about Louvage/Louis? Any information would be greatly appreciated. |

There is a mystery as to why his wife would be living with Henry Wilcox in 1911 with one of her sons. |

Louis's probate says he had been living at 9 Upper Cross Street, Tirphil, Glamorgan, (that's the address of 1911 census above) and administration was granted to Sarah Ann Parodie, widow. |

Very messy 1911 census record - Louis isn't actually on it at all: |

I'm beginning to think Louis and Sarah Ann might not have married - very strange indeed except ours was a catholic family! Thank you. |

Thank you. It is their marriage details that I'm trying to find, because in the 1901 cenus Sarah Ann is supposed to be married to a Harry Willcox and some of her children by Parodie are living with her. Louie died in 1915. I know Sarah's single name from my great-grandmothers birth certificate. It's quite confusing! |

Not sure about that 1871 now - the ages (except for Aequilla/Quellitia) are wrong and Louis/Lewis birth place is given a Breconshire, Tallyn (I think, image not very clear) |
