I have also looked up this Warren House, and i read somewhere that it was unusual as house of its period would have normally been built with a Wooden Structure, but this wasn't. The building was built from Bricks and had a Tiled Roof. I am sure it was a Thatched Cottage that his Grandparents lived in as he told me it was thatched when he still had his marbles.. |

Stansted does come under Essex, but also parts of it is under Cambridgshire.. |

Warren Cottage was a thatched cottage located on the drive to Stansted Hall. |
