I doubt that her maiden name was Croft. She probably married an Anson after Frederick died. These records on CWGC were added to much later.

No, it definitely isn't on FreeBMD, I tried place, date, volume and page no., it isn't there!

I just don't understand the query.

I alerted Carolyn yesterday about the replies. She replied on here and has sent a pm stating that she hoped someone from the Croft family in S. Australia would see her query as she has something which belongs to them.

I replied that it doesn't quite work like that and to try looking in 'search trees' for possible links.

She again replied stating that they were going to place an advert in the local paper!

I have told her that there is still more help for her on here and that it looks as though someone on this site has Frederick jnr in their tree but she has not yet opened that message.

Very old thread that but hoping that I might still be able to get in contact. Frederick Ernest Croft is my Great Grandfather. Frederick son - also Frederick Croft Migrated to South Australia with his wife Betty my dad Colin Croft.
