Hi Paul...my name is John Kerr..i now live in Brisbane Australia...i was born in 1947 at 22,Lancefield Quey Anderston...my dads name was William Kerr my mothers name was Matilda Kerr nee Craig..Christina Walker nee Kerr and Billy Walker lived just around the corner in Elliot Sreet..All the other people that you mentioned i was led to believe were my fathers cousins...i never knew my dads parents..when we asked about the grandparents we were told not to ask about it...anyway if you find out anything i would love to hear from you...John Kerr

It is £10 on Scotlandspeople for the certificates but if you go to register office it is £14

I'd also visit the Mitchell library in Glasgow if possable.Accident should be in a daily paper.Also check the poor relief records.They have some great info on some of them

This is the parents marriage.

So we know some of the children with missing dates are pre 1917. Does makes the death of the William we found a bit sus, he'd have been born 4 years before his parents married? Not unusual i know... i have many of them lol.

i know gordon is still living.
he is being looked after by someone, but i have tried to contact him and the person that cares for him will not reply to my messages or anything.

so i dont want to push it, and hassle them.

wich is why i was trying to search any other living relatives.

I agree with Root,

Half my side are Scottish and while you can 'cheat the system' with using females it's harder with males.

If you order a cert it can tale upto 4/6 weeks to arrive, it's very very painful lol
