The one I didn't have was Thomas & Emily's family (George's parents) from the 1881 census as I don't have access to the this census.

I am quite new to geneology websites as I did most of my research by foot scouring the country during the 80's, but this certainly beats standing all day looking at tomes. You found more in a short time than I did in 7 years!

How do I gain access to 1911 and 1881 census details? Also, Is this site just England because I can't find people who were born in Scotland or abroad (British Military family so I thought they should be registered).

One husband was Taylor, another may have been Lyle.

This is info I gleaned years ago and never got any further?

Another Northcott one I am stuck on is William Northcott, Born 1855 in Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset. I can find him in 1861, 1871 in Somerset, and in 1901 in Bargoed, Glamorgan, but I can't find him in 1891 and haven't got access to 1881

To answer your earlier question

this is a world site in that the users are from all over the world. You have posted on a public forum that members can see and answer if they choose.Each member has access to different sources and sites. Some people specialise in certain areas. There are people able to do scottish lookups. There are some free sites such as free bmd and family search. I get census info from findmypast.
