Hi. What a great offer, thanks very much.
Is there any chance you could look up for me please the death of a Jack Mitchell in 1936 / 1937 who either fell or jumped from a train travelling from Manchester, Lancashire to possibly Newcastle or Nottingham.
I'm trying to trace Jack for my family tree and can find no evidence of him at all except this story that my dad is adamant about. I'd appreciate anything you could find. Thank you, cathy

HI, I would really appreciate a lookup re a boat, rather than a person!

Apparently my ggg grandfather's yacht, named Fanny, sank in a collision with another boat called Carnarvon or some similar spelling, somewhere not far from Liverpool, circa 1860. It could be in the 1859-1863 timeframe.

His name was David Turnbull Stewart, or he may have been under David Turnbull.

I'd love to have the full transcript of the accident, and the date, if at all possible.

Many thanks in advance,

Ian

Many thanks for your offer. I'm trying to find information on my Grandmother Esther Margaret Hearsey born Carlisle 1888. She emigrated to America arriving on the ssCymric at Boston on 14 May 1904. She was going to live with her Aunt & Uncle (Catherine & William Sewell) in Fall River, Bristol, Ma, but William (who had paide for her passage) died while she was at sea. Esther married an Ormston and had a son while in the US. Both are said to have died so she returned to the UK during WW1.
Am most interested in any info on her the marriage and the deaths of William or her husband and son.

What a kind offer. Would the archive cover marriage and death announcements? If so, please can I be cheeky and ask for two look ups?

Death of Tabitha Martin in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent in 1902.

Kind Regards

Hi. T. If you are still offering this helpful service, could you please see if you can find a death for Wilfred T. Hodgins, Manitoba between 1960-1980. The dates are sheer guesswork to be honest. I know he was born in 1913 and was around in the 1920's but after that....??? Abducted by aliens I think! Regards.

Hi,
If your kind offer is still open, I was wondering if there might be anything in the Edinburgh paper for the period 1900 to 1905 about a James Pearce and his wife Janet Young Pearce nee Black, I know they divorced, and she left the country I believe. Anything would be gratefully received, Thanks,, Debbie.

Hi, I have just been going through my family tree, and I gave you the wrong year for Richard Hetherington's death. It should have read 26th December 1938. No wonder you couldn't find his death in the paper. he was still alive in 1936! Sorry. I don't know whether you are still doing look ups now? He was living on Howe Street in Liverpool when he died.
Kind regards, Sue
