Someone who I contacted on here thought there was a chance that Rose robinson was his first wife, but finding out a ann was his first wife from the census, then seeing that index thing together I think it's looking quite likely she was actually Ann Lynn

I recon you might be on to somthing about alice & Ann being sisters! looks like my 3x great grandad could of been a scandal aha :)

Looks like Alice & Ann were sisters and James married them both!

Just noticed as well that on one of them census' (i think it was 1901) his spouse was Alice, although they wasn't even married.. and there was 2 other kids besides Ann Elizabeth, mary and Alice.. Could of been named mary after their mother and Alice after her sister..

Just found Ann Elizabeth Whaymand's Baptism on Ancestry & Ann and James marriage.

They all come under the name Whayman, Can anyone look them up for me?

Wish this had been online when I did my mothers side,would have saved me a fortune ,and with the name Wood in London it was as bad as Smith for going wrong.

I'm just looking at the Marriage between Ann Roberts and Harry Foot, I think it's just a index thingy though..

That was in 1933 and they dont go that late on Ancestry,so yes it was just the index to refs,which you can get on freebmd anyway.
