i cant find any other info on charles or his parents i cant find their birth in england either do you have their birth certs by chance


cant find a death for dorothy or frank/ either but they only go up to 1934 in canada unless they are military

The births for usa are hit and miss not like uk wher you can search them online i wonder if it would help if you sent for his death cert it may give his parents address

the only other way i could think of finding relatives is search his fathers siblings on francis ww1 records it says his mother was jane

i checked the 1911 cenus and he is not with his parents in uk

i found this in canada 1911 he is the brother of james wondered if frank/francis father had been married before as jane was so much younger

definatly says beech on census and year of immigration is 1908

Many thanks for all the extra inforation Lorraine. I don't have any certificates I'm afraid. I was just hoping to find out a bit more. I had wondered whether the parents stayed in the USA and he just went to Canada to enlist in the air force because when he died in 1943 he had already been in the air force for 3 years, before the americans had joined the war.

I think I've found Francis Beech's birth, July 1887 in Caister. On the 1891 census this is where they were living but he's listed as 'Frank'.
Don't suppose you have access to deaths in the USA as this maybe where the parents stayed, only if you're bored though! I worry that I may be leading us both on a wild goose chase though.

I'd be very grateful if you can find any info on my Grandmother's brother.

He was David Lawrence Read, born 6 May 1897 in Carlisle, Cumberland. In January 1919 he left the Royal Marines and a note on his service record (that I found last night after some kind help on this site) says to forward his papers to the British Consulate in New York so I assume he emigrated. I'd be really interested to know if there are any records of him in America.

I have found him on Ellis Island web site, he went from Milnsbridge, Huddersfield Yorkshire in 1908 to join his brother Harry who was out there. 2 other siblings Arthur and Hannah joined them in 1915.

says william emmigrated in 1866 but dont think that is right as james and daniel where born in scotland so they should be on the scottish 1880 census as i cant find them in on usa one

thomas place of birth hard to make out but looks like kentucky or conneticut

unfortunatly there is no 1890 census

re alberts children cant find any marriages for the girls so hard to follow them up re son john e

again there are no marriages index for mass and from the census his birth date should be around 1917 but not finding a death or ww2 records for a john born that year
